3 minutes introduction
I’m Sanjay Gandhi, a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Oracle Healthcare, with over six years of experience across Oracle, Google, and Amazon. I enjoy taking an unclear problem, understanding what truly matters, and helping a team turn it into something people can rely on.
Today, I lead eight engineers across three clinical reporting products. My main focus is a medical reporting platform that I helped build from the beginning. It brings together information from different sources, produces reports in several formats, and now handles more than one million requests each day.
My role goes beyond making technical decisions. I give engineers the context they need, remove obstacles, coordinate with other teams, and remain responsible when something goes wrong. This work has taught me that leadership often means making the path clear enough for other people to move forward with confidence.
Before Oracle, I worked on education features within Google Search. I helped build an exam quiz and an interactive periodic table in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. These features reached more than 100 million learners. The work taught me to learn unfamiliar systems, ask better questions, and stay patient when an answer was not immediately visible.
My career began with Amazon. During college, I received a full-time offer when the company visited our campus to hire interns. In its finance team, I built a system that found unusual invoice activity. Three checks identified more than 100 million dollars in their first month and reduced reporting time from 24 hours to about five minutes.
Mentoring and hiring are important to me. I began by creating problems at HackerEarth and now help lead interviews at Oracle. Across 150 interviews, I value fair judgment and respect. I’m now looking for broader leadership responsibility, meaningful problems, and a team that keeps learning together.
