Experience

Teams I've learned from, and systems I've helped shape.

  • Own architecture, technical direction, delivery, and production readiness across 3 Oracle Health products: MRO Gen2, XR Gen1, and Dex Gen1. Defined and completed a 1-year roadmap across 7 Java Micronaut microservices and a React UI for a unified clinical reporting platform.

  • Built reusable report-generation and printing capabilities supporting 30+ internal concept teams and 16+ production healthcare organizations. Partnered with 25+ cross-functional teams and reduced Gen2 concept onboarding from 2 weeks to under 1 week.

  • Evolved the platform from a 0-to-1 report-generation service into 7 microservices spanning an API service, template management, data extraction, report generation, report template configuration, output assembler, and the mro-ai-intelligence-service. Incrementally routed approximately 80% of report traffic through newly architected endpoints without downtime while maintaining existing workflows.

  • Architected a 3-lane asynchronous system handling 10M requests/day and load-tested for bursts of 1M requests; achieved p80 under 3 seconds, p90 within 1 minute, p99 within 10 minutes, and 3 ms/page report generation while isolating the approximately 1% taking over 10 minutes or producing over 1 GB outputs.

  • Led 4 successful releases as Tech Lead (2 quarterly, then 2 bi-monthly), increasing completed Jira story points by 100% over 10 months through execution improvements and AI adoption. Scoped work for 5-8 engineers, removed blockers, and drove architecture, compliance, monitoring, and operational and production readiness.

  • Served as the primary escalation owner for critical production issues; established on-call and coached incident response. Restored approximately 1,000-page reports to the end-to-end latency SLA, reduced heap usage by 40%, and improved performance by over 25%.

  • Led 3 engineers to deliver Gen1 Report Ingress and 6 APIs in 1 quarter + 1 month versus 2 quarters planned, enabling the phased WebSphere-to-EJS migration with fewer processing hangs, faster server-side feature delivery, improved performance, stability, and scalability, and lower infrastructure and third-party costs.

  • Proposed an AI-powered template builder and reporting solution, aligned 4 Product Managers, and moved it from idea to execution. Influenced a partner team’s operating model to improve velocity by approximately 30%, and coached engineers on AI adoption.

  • Converted ambiguous technical and product scopes into architecture and execution plans for SI DRZ and EHRC modernization. Built the India Clinical Reporting team from scratch; led 8 engineers across 3 products; conducted 150+ interviews, contributed to 30+ hires as a Senior Bar Raiser, and mentored and judged AI project ideas from 12 OraHacks teams.

Professional & leadership

  • Promoted to Tech Lead, owning architecture, delivery, and technical direction for a multi-service healthcare platform with leadership experience across 10+ engineers.

  • Conducted 150+ interviews and contributed to 30+ hires as a Senior Key Interviewer (Senior Bar Raiser) at Oracle; mentored and judged 12 AI teams at OraHacks, guiding their projects from prototype toward production.

  • First student from Lovely Professional University to receive a direct SDE full-time offer from Amazon during third-year on-campus internship hiring.

  • Mentored and judged AI project ideas from 12 OraHacks teams; one mentored team won with CodeAtlas, a local-first code knowledge graph that scans repositories, stores structural relationships in SQLite, and provides bounded retrieval for AI-assisted development.

About

Engineering with intent. Leading with clarity. Delivering with ownership.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead with 6+ years across Oracle, Google, and Amazon. At Oracle, I lead 8 engineers across 3 products and 7 microservices, connecting architecture, technical direction, and delivery. As a Senior Bar Raiser, I’ve conducted 100+ interviews and been a key decision maker for 30+ hires.

My expertise spans cloud-native platforms in healthcare, search, and finance. I build reliable distributed and asynchronous systems, and apply machine learning and generative AI to create practical tools that make engineers more effective.

BEYOND TECHNICAL

Clarity, care, and follow-through.

I help engineers grow, guide technical decisions, and turn product direction into focused execution—building a team that delivers with confidence and a high quality bar.

“You are never wrong to do the right thing.”

Mentoring people

Act as a force multiplier for the team through actionable feedback, mentoring, and stronger engineering judgement.

Getting things done

Resolve ambiguity, set technical direction, make sound decisions, and deliver through others.

Quality & process

Uphold a high quality bar through thoughtful reviews, establish clear processes, and automate recurring work to reduce effort.

Roadmap & vision

Shape product direction and plan the roadmap, then connect weekly priorities and daily plans to that direction.
